As a vital part of the larger CSI community, we are united in our mission to prevent and eradicate cardiovascular diseases (CVD) and reduce the associated mortality through awareness, education, and research.
With cardiovascular diseases being one of the leading causes of death globally, our commitment lies in elevating public awareness about the profound impact of environment and lifestyle on heart health. Our motto — “Awareness. Prevention. Action.” — reflects our resolve to bridge the gap between knowledge and practice for a healthier tomorrow.
The CSI, since its inception, has played a pioneering role in promoting cardiovascular care in India. We take pride in our official publication, the Indian Heart Journal, which began its journey in 1949 and has since gained international recognition under the stewardship of esteemed editors, currently led by Dr. Rakesh Yadav.
As active members of global bodies such as the International Society & Federation of Cardiology, the Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology, and collaborators with the ESC and ACC, we strive to bring global standards of excellence to our local initiatives.
With a growing membership of over 4,400 professionals, we in CSI Nagpur are dedicated to fostering cutting-edge research, academic excellence, and community outreach. Together, we aim to create impactful change in cardiovascular health in the region and beyond.
